Real talk for LGBTQ+ parents: My story, your voice and coaching support
All the details:
Join us on Sunday, July 19th or Sunday, August 2nd at 11 a.m. for an authentic, relaxed hour together in the park where real conversations happen and connections are made.
We'll meet at the Central Park tennis courts and walk to a grassy spot to gather on picnic blankets for an informal, interactive session where you can:
• Hear my story as a parent navigating the LGBTQ+ journey with my own children
• Share your voice and experiences (only if you want to - no pressure!)
• Connect with other parents who understand what you're going through
• Learn how parent coaching can support you in showing up powerfully for your LGBTQ+ young adult
• Ask questions about advocacy, family dynamics, or anything else on your heart
This isn't a lecture or presentation. It's a circle of parents creating space for honest conversation.
Bring a water bottle, some snacks, comfortable clothes for sitting on blankets, and whatever's on your mind.
What to expect: One hour of authentic connection, practical insights, and the relief of being around people who get it.
What you'll leave with: New connections, clarity on next steps, and information about ongoing coaching support.
Free event! Just bring yourself.
Weather backup plan will be communicated 24 hours prior to event.
